General

  All services are carried out by our highly qualified and experienced technicians.  Whilst all care is taken to preserve the data on systems, some work WILL result in data loss and it is your responsibility to copy off or otherwise backup your data. If this cannot be done due to a fault condition, please advise us and we will be happy to attempt to recover your data.  There is however no guarantee that this can be accomplished.

Warranty

  We provide a warranty with all our work.  New systems carry a 12 month warranty on parts and labour, second hand parts sold separately carry a 30 day warranty.  The infection of systems by viruses or other malicious software, along with the misconfiguration of software is not covered under this warranty and is subject to the appropriate charges for reconfiguration and/or disinfection.  Electronic equipment repair carries a 3 month warranty on the work done and components replaced only.  This warranty does not cover sections of the device that were not worked on.
ANY physical damage voids any and all warrenties.

Privacy

  Any data contained in systems submitted for repair is deemed to be the property of the customer and as such will be kept strictly confidential.  Duplication or backup of this data will only occur with the express instruction from the customer concerned. All copies made will be passed to the customer on the requested media (HDD/CD-R/DVD-R/BR-R etc) and no copies will be kept on site, unless a data retention service is requested whereby all copies will be stored securely and only released back to the original customer.
  All customer contact information and identifying details are for our business use only and will not be divulged in whole or in part to any other party (mailing lists, telemarketers etc).  All data is stored securely on our servers that are not exposed to the internet to assure such data remains secure and tamper-free.

Pickups

  Any equipment or device left with us for repair is done so in good faith.  Whilst we aim to complete your job in a timely manner, delays may occur which are beyond our control.  You will be kept advised of such matters.  If your device remains uncollected 4 weeks after you have been contacted, we will attempt to contact you again and give you a reminder.  If collection still has not been made after a further 8 weeks, the device may be sold to recover costs (3 months TOTAL from the first pickup contact). Payments

  We will contact you and advise you when your device is ready for collection.  Unless otherwise negotiated, payment on pickup is required.  If an invoice is issued, terms are strictly 7 days till payment is expected unless prior arrangements have been made.  Amounts outstanding past this time are deemed OVERDUE, and extra service fees may be levied.
